"Video is everything." That's what Dr. Kiki Baker Barnes, Dillard University, Director of Athletics says. "That's the one thing I've learned in terms of marketing. And again, this is an area where I'm growing as a leader and understanding that space, but people really interact a lot better with video. We get probably more shares with video versus just a static graphic."
That's something that's transcending not just the world of sports, but everywhere. There are a lot of different streaming and video options out there, but not all of them are right for sports, or for athletic programs with more limited staff and budgets.
