We are happy to announce that PrimeTime is now live for all of our website customers.  Our biggest upgrade in five years brings a responsive design across desktop, tablets, and phones; includes beautiful top-quality graphics with team logos; full screen and theater mode views; and updates across all sites so away games now show live on your own site. PrimeTime is free for all of our website customers, and deals are available for conferences with members who do not use PrestoSports for their website.

Creating a seamless fan experience

One of the flaws with college sports websites is that live stats is separate from a team's website. Live stats was always a link to a different website design, either to the live stats platform of your website provider or to a different live stats and video streaming provider. This was one of the easiest ways fans could tell they were not on a site like ESPN or one of the professional sports online platforms, and this was one of the main challenges we wanted to tackle.

Your live stats will now sit within your website. No more pop-ups, no more clicking to some other screen, no more special links, no more mobile vs. desktop versions of links. It's now seamless.

Not only that, the URL to the event is also permanent! Days before the event, fans will see a countdown to the action. During the event, they'll see stats updating in real time. And after the event, they'll see the box score. You and your fans can share that link to your own site with your custom domain name and it creates a professional, cohesive fan experience.

Finally, your away game live stats show up in your own site. You no longer have to click over to whatever pop-up window your opponent is providing and give your fans whatever experience your opponent provides. This just makes sense to fans.

Setting up PrimeTime

The next major challenge we tackled was making this entirely self-service. We couldn't make this free but still require you to email us to use it, could we? Now, using PrimeTime is as simple as checking a box in the event. We automatically create the live stats links on your schedule and convert that to a box score link when the game is over. You can also use our bulk schedule editor to quickly mark your schedule with PrimeTime links.

When it's game time, you can continue to push statistics to us using StatJack for third-party stats entry software or use our own stats entry solution. For those who haven't had budget to upgrade Stat Crew for years and have been stuck using TasHTML, free PrimeTime and stats entry combine for a winning experience.

Video options

We're preparing PrimeTime to offer more video solutions in the very near future. You can still configure UStream channels in your events, and later in August, we'll start allowing you to set up BoxCast and Volar broadcasts in PrimeTime. These are more advanced integrations than UStream and you'll be prompted to sign into BoxCast and Volar from our admin system and pick the specific broadcast for each event. It's more work for you, but it allows those video providers more control over what is getting broadcast. The PrestoSports video solution is still collecting feedback from users and continues to be developed as we integrate our video platform into our admin system.
